Hello, nonexistent readers!
So I decided that if I am going to write about Adore's products, I might as well just write about everything else I use. Because, I mean, why not?
Let's hop to it.
I have used this one stick of deodorant for about two-ish years. I have to say deodorant lasts forever for me. I use it every day but it takes me forever to finish a measly 2.6 ounces. The "Revive" part refers to the pomegranate and lemon verbena scent, although there are absolutely no reviving powers to it. "Long lasting freshness"? Not really.
I personally have a strong body odor. I don't sweat excessively but I sweat, especially when I'm working out. In the beginning of the day when I first put this antiperspirant on, it smells nice. I feel great, the world is great. Things are just great. However, throughout the day, probably about 6 hours later, the smell is not so great. Don't get me wrong, the lovely pomegranate and lemon verbena is there, lingering somewhere, but right alongside it like two best buddies is my natural body odor. The two of them hanging out in my underarms; one whiff and woooweee! Definitely attractive. Good thing my boyfriend is beyond kind enough to not say anything about it until I pressured him into telling me the truth. The fragrance lasts but it does not mask.
Secondly, it gets extremely itchy after 12 hours. The deodorant itself isn't sticky, nor is it chalky. It goes on white but fades to clear within a few hours. It is easy to wash off, but for some weird reason, my pits just feel crazy itchy if I don't wash them after a full day at Disneyland.
Third, this deodorant does not last 48 hours. I've gone 24 hours without showering a few times (hey, sometimes homework is more important than sleeping and showering) and definitely got to say that I did not wake up feeling so spiffy. The scent was kind of there, almost at the brink of not being there at all, but the B.O. is all too overpowering.
So, I have about a quarter of a stick to go. I don't like to waste so I intend to use it up. I will probably never buy this scent ever again because my pits and my nose aren't "reviving" while using it. I did, however, do some research and found that the cucumber and green tea scent does wonders. I already know what it smells like because I also have the Dove body wash with the same exact scent, so I have high hopes for this working for me. I purchased it at Target in the clearance shelf for $3.38. It also came with a .5 ounce sample of Dove's Advanced Care to I guess moisturize my underarms, although the sweat kind of already takes care of that. I will just use that as a travel deodorant. When I get to using the cucumber and green tea one, I will post a review!
Much love to y'all.

Adore - Organic Innovation: Essence Facial Peeling Gel - Month 1
I realize that my other post never posted. First time blogger problems.
Purpose: To test whether the Essence Facial Peeling Gel can brighten, whiten, and rejuvenate skin as so claimed
Procedure: Mix gel with spatula before application. Apply a thin layer on a clean face avoiding eye area, twice a week for two weeks, then once a week after. Scrub off gently, and rinse well. Do this only at night before sleeping. Recommended to follow with any moisturizer.
Background info: Gender: Female. Age: 20. Ethnicity: Asian (Vietnamese). Skin issues: cystic acne for four years; has been getting slightly better.
Hopes and expectations: I hope to see smaller pores, brighter skin, and acne scars to fade.
Reality: I do have to say that my skin is really soft after using this product. When applying, this gel dries up pretty quickly so no need to wait before scrubbing. Actually, you might need to pat a damp towel on your face so you can actually scrub but make sure it isn't too wet because then you're going to have a hard time scrubbing. You actually do scrub off dead skin but know that it's like 75% gel, 25% dead skin.
So my pores are slightly smaller on my cheeks and kind of on my nose. My boyfriend has told me that I look more yellow (I assume he means I have a better complexion). I am definitely not allergic to this product because I have had little to no breakouts since using this product. Not saying that this gel gets rid of acne; I've been taking good care of myself lately such as eating healthy, exercising, and sleeping early. As for my acne scars, I don't see much of a difference. They look cleaner in a way that the scars are more pink and not dark, but other than that, not much going on.
They tell you not to put this around your eye area for a reason. I accidentally put some close to the area under my eye and it slightly burns. Probably because the skin there is thin. So avoid the eye area like the instructions say.
I do not moisturize after using the peeling gel.
Next update on gel will be September 27, 2014.
